Mark is a PADI Course Director and Elite Instructor based at Wiltshire Scuba in Swindon, specialising in everything from beginner scuba diving courses to professional PADI Instructor Development. Over the years he has guided divers from their very first Discover Scuba Diving experience all the way through to PADI Instructors and even Course Directors, helping them build real-world confidence in the water and in the classroom.
Although Mark has dived all over the world – including Egypt, Mauritius, Costa Rica and Mexico – he still has a soft spot for UK diving, and loves showing students how rewarding local diving in Wiltshire and the surrounding region can be.
With a professional background in IT, Mark brings an extra layer of support to future dive pros. He helps Instructor Development candidates get to grips with PADI digital tools, and shares practical advice on websites, SEO, CRM systems and online marketing so they can grow their own dive careers and businesses.
Mark is also a Powerboat Instructor and IDEST-qualified scuba equipment technician, responsible for cylinder testing, servicing and equipment maintenance. This gives him a rounded view of how modern dive centres operate – from boats and compressors to kit servicing and customer journeys. Combined with his global network of dive centres, this means IDC candidates training with him get realistic career guidance and strong support with job placement in the UK and abroad.
