Your regulator is one of the most important pieces of equipment you own. Whether it’s used every weekend or only comes out for diving holidays, regular inspection and servicing helps keep it performing correctly and gives you confidence before your next dive.
Wiltshire Scuba provides professional regulator servicing from our Service Centre in Swindon. We work with equipment from many popular diving manufacturers, including Apeks, Aqua Lung, Scubapro, Mares and others, subject to parts availability and the requirements of the individual equipment.
Standard Regulator Service: £115. Covers a typical recreational configuration of one first stage, one primary second stage and one alternate second stage / octopus, including standard service kits.
What’s Included?
Our £115 standard regulator service covers a typical recreational regulator set consisting of:
- One first stage
- One primary second stage
- One alternate second stage / octopus
- Standard service kits for the above configuration
- Disassembly and inspection
- Appropriate cleaning
- Replacement of scheduled service components
- Reassembly, adjustment and intermediate-pressure checks
- Breathing-performance / functional checks as appropriate
- Final inspection
If we identify additional parts outside the normal service kit, we’ll contact you before carrying out significant additional work.
What Isn’t Included?
The £115 standard price does not automatically include:
- Replacement hoses, mouthpieces, gauges, SPGs or transmitters
- Significant corrosion damage or damaged housings
- Non-standard configurations or additional first/second stages
- Unusual or discontinued components
If your setup differs from a standard one-first-stage/two-second-stage configuration, contact us and we’ll provide appropriate pricing.
How Often Should My Regulator Be Serviced?
Service intervals vary between manufacturers and sometimes between models — the best approach is to follow the manufacturer’s current servicing recommendations. You should also have your regulator inspected if it hasn’t been used for a long period, breathing performance has changed, it free-flows unexpectedly, you notice leaks, intermediate pressure appears unstable, it has been contaminated, you purchased it second-hand and don’t know its service history, or you simply aren’t confident in its condition.

Our workshop handles regulator equipment from many major diving manufacturers, including Apeks, Aqua Lung, Scubapro, Mares and others. Not every model can necessarily be serviced immediately — parts availability, technical support and manufacturer requirements vary, particularly with older equipment. Send us the make and model if you’d like confirmation before booking.
You don’t need to have purchased your regulator from Wiltshire Scuba — we’re happy to inspect and service suitable equipment purchased elsewhere.
Club Regulator Servicing
If you’re responsible for equipment for a dive club, university club, dive school, instructor team or organisation with multiple regulator sets, please contact us. We can discuss volume servicing and club pricing rather than treating every regulator as an unrelated individual job.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does £115 include the service kits?
Yes. For the normal one-first-stage, primary-second-stage and alternate-second-stage configuration, standard service kits are included. Additional components or parts outside the standard kits may cost extra.
Can you service DIN and A-clamp regulators?
We can work with common recreational configurations. Please send us the exact make/model if you have an unusual or older setup.
Can you service regulators used with Nitrox?
Suitable regulator equipment can be serviced for its intended use. If oxygen-clean requirements apply to your particular configuration or intended gas, discuss this with us when booking.
What if my regulator is very old?
Contact us with the manufacturer and model. Availability of service kits and replacement parts is often the deciding factor with older equipment.
How long will it take?
Turnaround depends on workshop workload and parts availability. If you have a trip approaching, tell us the date when booking.
