Visit the Workshop
Where Professional Servicing Meets Practical Experience
Every dive begins with equipment you trust.
Behind every serviced regulator, inspected cylinder and maintained compressor is a workshop built around precision, attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
At Wiltshire Scuba, our workshop is more than somewhere equipment is repaired—it’s where knowledge, experience and professional standards come together to support divers, dive centres and technical professionals.
Whether you’re bringing your own equipment in for servicing or attending one of our technical training courses, you’ll be working with the same workshop and the same team.
Plan Your Visit
You're welcome to come to the workshop — to talk through a service, be measured for a drysuit, try masks and fins, or just get an honest answer to a question. Here's everything you need to find us.
Please call or text before you set off. We are a small team, and now and again we are out collecting or delivering equipment with the unit shut. A quick message means we will be here, and we can have whatever you are coming to look at out and ready.

When we are open
Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 18:00
We are happy to open outside those hours, evenings included, if you arrange it with us first. If those times do not suit you, ask — we would rather find one that works than have you not come at all.
What to expect when you arrive
We’re a working unit on an industrial estate rather than a high-street shop, so it’s a slightly different visit to a retail dive centre — and that’s rather the point. You’ll be talking to the people who actually service the equipment, in the place where the work is done.
If you’re coming about a piece of kit, bring it with you. It’s much easier for us to give you a straight answer with the equipment in front of us than over the phone.
A Working Dive Equipment Workshop
Unlike many training centres, our workshop is used every day. Here we carry out equipment servicing, inspections, repairs and technical training using professional tools and workshop procedures. Our facilities support:
- Regulator servicing
- BCD servicing
- Cylinder inspections
- Oxygen cleaning
- Compressor maintenance
- Equipment diagnostics
- Technical training
Because our workshop is active throughout the year, delegates learn in an environment where servicing is part of everyday operations rather than a classroom simulation.
Professional Equipment
Our workshop is equipped with specialist tools designed for precision servicing and inspection. Depending on the task being carried out, this includes equipment such as:
- Intermediate pressure gauges
- Torque tools
- Ultrasonic cleaning equipment
- Inspection lighting
- Thread inspection tools
- Cylinder inspection equipment
- Oxygen-clean preparation equipment
- Compressor servicing tools
Every tool has a purpose, and understanding how and when to use it forms an important part of professional workshop practice.
Safety through attention to detail: dive equipment is life-support equipment. That’s why every inspection and service is carried out methodically and carefully. Attention to detail, accurate documentation and following the correct procedures are just as important as the work itself. Whether we’re servicing a regulator or inspecting a cylinder, our focus remains the same: consistency, accuracy, professionalism and safety.
Supporting Recreational and Professional Divers
Our workshop supports a wide range of customers including:
- Recreational divers
- Technical divers
- Dive clubs
- Commercial organisations
- Emergency services
- Universities
- Dive professionals
- Equipment technicians
No matter who we’re working with, our goal is to deliver the same high standard of service and technical support.
Training in the Workshop
Many of our IDEST technical training courses are delivered within the workshop itself. Rather than simply learning theory, delegates gain practical experience using genuine diving equipment under instructor guidance. This hands-on approach helps build confidence while reinforcing safe workshop procedures and good technical practice.
Looking After Your Equipment
Regular servicing helps maintain the performance and reliability of your equipment. We’ll always explain:
- What we’re doing
- Why it needs doing
- Any issues we’ve identified
- Recommendations for future maintenance
We believe informed customers make better decisions about the equipment they trust underwater.
Continuous Investment
We’re continually investing in our workshop, equipment and training to ensure we can provide high-quality servicing and technical education. As diving equipment evolves, so do the tools, techniques and knowledge required to maintain it correctly. Professional development is just as important for technicians as it is for instructors.
