Good navigation is one of the most useful skills any diver can have — it builds confidence, helps you find your way back to the boat or shore, and means you spend less time worrying about where you are and more time enjoying the dive.
The PADI Underwater Navigator course covers both compass navigation and natural navigation techniques, including estimating distance, following headings, and plotting simple search patterns. You’ll practise these skills across a series of open water dives.
